I raced my fully upgraded Entity XF both with and without turbo installed to see which was faster on the next generation GTA 5 on the Playstation 4. To do this I chose the Criminal Records race track and raced with the turbo installed 3 times and then without the turbo installed 3 times to get a well rounded average on a relatively straight forward track.

What I found was that the Entity XF performed significantly better without a Turbo installed with a total speed of 2.57 seconds faster then if there was a Turbo installed. I’m not sure if Rockstar will correct this problem in the near future or if it was done intentional, but for now I’m going to disable the Turbo for all of my main racing vehicles in GTA 5 on the Playstation 4.
